A beautiful woodland photoshoot | Family Lifestyle Photography | Halifax | West Yorkshire
A couple of weeks ago I spent a lovely hour or so with this wonderful family at Judy Woods, between Halifax and Bradford. The weather was kind to us and we had a lovely sunny morning to capture their images, and met in the morning before the sun got too high in the sky. I'd done a walk-around the week before and found a great stick den that I thought their little boy would love - only to find it had been dismantled before the date of the shoot. However, as most little boys do, he had fun playing with the sticks that were left behind and we had a great time.
During the shoot we took a mixture of candid and family shots. Generally speaking I don't like to spend ages posing people, especially children, as they can either clam up or turn on the super-cheesey camera grin that I like to avoid! So we kept it relaxed and informal and generally just let this little boy play and have fun while I snapped a variety of shots for his parents to choose from later.
