A beautiful baby girl's studio newborn photoshoot | Halifax, West Yorkshire
This beautiful baby girl came to see me when she was 11 days old, and was a little superstar for her newborn photoshoot.
We began the session on the beanbag, where she was awake for a little while before falling asleep. I was able to capture a range of natural poses, as was her parents' preference. She was most content on her side and on her back, so I made use of wraps and kept her nice and comfy throughout.
Her gallery includes a range of colour and black and white photographs - I love both but always think there's something so timeless about black and white images - they're nearly always my favourites.
After the beanbag we moved on to large furry backdrops to give the gallery a variety of textures and a few different looks. This little girl was so good we even managed to use two of the rugs for contrast.
Whilst she was fast asleep on the rugs (almost all babies find this setup super-comfy!) I took some macro shots of her beautiful newborn features. I typically try and capture your baby's perfect little hands and feet, never ceasing to be amazed by how tiny and perfectly formed they are, along with eyelashes, their tiny button nose, ears, lips, maybe even a swirl in their hair if they have it.
